Fire Island Pines has long been a magnet for artists. In 2010, I founded Pines Nude Drawing, a group that brought together local artists to draw the male figure from life. For ten summers, we held weekend drawing sessions in a variety of settings, including private homes, the beach, and the surrounding forest. Over the years, the group organized several exhibitions in both New York City and Fire Island Pines. Beyond the drawings and exhibitions, Pines Nude Drawing became a creative community, fostering lasting friendships and connections among participating artists.
