Bio

Carlos Pisco was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1958 and currently lives and works in NYC.

Carlos is currently serving as Design Director for TVGuide.com and teaches Printmaking at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. His clients include Times New Media, the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS), and Thirteen/WNET New York. He concentrates his skills on information architecture design for large and complex sites, leading to developing design templates for content management systems, including the use of style guides built around visual impact, relevant content, and compelling calls-to-action. He has an extensive portfolio, and has designed and art directed a wide range of interactive, print, and corporate identity projects.

One-person exhibitions include: Amos Eno Gallery, Archives Health and Fitness Club, Mega Fitness, NYC. Group exhibitions include: Visual Arts Gallery, NYC; National Institut of Photography, Rio de Janeiro; Leslie-Lohman Gallery, NYC; 750 Gallery, CA.
